I was an assistant house director at the Staatsoper unter den Linden in Berlin from 1996 until 2002 and during this time worked on over 45 new productions.

As well as being responsible for repertoire revivals in Berlin, I was also in charge of tours to Madrid, Paris and Tokyo of Wagner's Ring, conducted by Daniel Barenboim.

I have been working freelance since 2002.  I am a regular revival director at the Liceu in Barcelona, with recent productions – Parsifal (N.Lehnhoff- with P.Domingo) Jenufa, at the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin (J.Miller) and at the Opera in Genova - Wagner's Parsifal (Shavanoch/Kupfer) and Handel's Giulio Cesare (Wernike).

I have always considered it a great pleasure working with new teams in different places.

I am am fluent in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
